Christmas 2001
by Rosalinda Rayne
I was having a difficult Christmas, even more so than usual because of my relationship breaking up and the loss of my step-children from my life. There was one cracker left in the box -- my friend pulled it with me. The token inside was a cheap little koala badge, and I realized that Milly was wishing me a happy Christmas.
Koalas have particular significance for Milly and me as I/we were run over by a koala the night she was conceived. Milly and I always celebrated her conception day.
