Eric's 21st Birthday

Eric has indeed sent me and others signs at different times and they are a blessing.
The most incredible set of signs came on his 21st birthday (he died when he was barely 19). His birthday is in October. His sister suggested on his 21st birthday that we visit a local maze that is created every fall in Chatsworth, at a natural habitat area. She explained to us that the reason she wanted to go there was because Eric was so bright and he loved puzzles, mazes, games, anything that required brain power...so she thought it was very appropriate and Eric would approve. So we did...it is a long drive from Boulder and when we arrived I was feeling pretty low and down hearted.
As I got out of the car, I looked up, and right above our car was a beautiful eagle, just circling and circling. Eric was an Eagle Scout and he loved raptors...he actually loved all animals and creatures but especially raptors. So to me that was my first sign that day from sweet Eric. Then as we were walking into the maze I heard a mom call her son and his name was Eric...second sign. Then we found ourselves behind a young man with bleached blonde hair...just like Eric's! Sign number 3. And finally, the maze is quiet large and is supposed to take 2 1/2 -3 hours to complete. We did it in 45 minutes! We all agreed that we had a very special "guide" that day, showing us the twists and turns to take...and that to me was sign number 4.
I believe Eric knew how very difficult that special birthday was going to be for us and he made sure we knew he was still "with us" and "watching over us". It is always uplifting to me when I receive a sign from Eric -- it doesn't last because it is a poor substitute, but it does warm my heart.
