John Michael's Birthday Sign

This would have been John's 19th birthday. But instead of celebrating, his Grandma, visiting from Ohio, his brothers, Thomas and Brian, sister-in-law, Nancy, John's cousin and Godmother, Stacey and his mom and dad went to visit him at the cemetery. We brought with us balloons and candles and pictures and tried to hold on to happy memories. After leaving the cemetery everyone came back to the house for some of John's favorite lemon cake. As I was cutting the cake, I said to my mother-in-law, that this was the birthday cake she saw in all the birthday pictures over the years. Suddenly, there was a flash of light. As if someone was taking a picture with a flash camera. We all looked at each other in great surprise, when my niece exclaimed,"That has to be John!!". We all knew that it was.
